High Desert Little League: Then & Now

High Desert Little League originally started as New River Little League back in 1977.

Today, High Desert Little League has been an anchor of our Anthem, New River, Tramonto, Desert Hills, Sonoran Foothills communities for 42 years. The 2019 Season represented the 25th year as High Desert Little League with Little League International.

Our non-profit organization operates as an all- volunteer program and only with the financial support of local businesses, corporate and community sponsors can High Desert Little League continue that tradition for more than 900 boys and girls, ages 4-16, in the Little League Baseball, Softball and Challenger Programs for this upcoming season.

HDLL also participates in the D-backs Give Back Youth Jersey Program. Established in 2014, the D-backs Give Back Youth Jersey Program is an important community investment designed to support the advancement of youth baseball and softball. With this unique program, baseball and softball players from beginners to advanced will play ball wearing their very own D-backs jersey and caps. In 2018, as a 100% charitable gift, the Arizona Diamondbacks provided more than 60,000 local youth baseball and softball players with D-backs branded jerseys and caps.
